Christopher Murphy
Christopher is a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced executive, having co-founded and scaled a number of startup ventures both in Australia and the United States of America.
Christopher has a depth of experience working in corporate strategy and corporate advisory, having worked for PwC Australia across both the the public and private sectors. Prior to PwC, Christopher worked as the General Manager of Legal and Finance at a VC funded startup, PeopleBrowsr, where he dealt with all aspects of investor management and strategy formulation.
A passionate educator, in addition to his professional obligations Christopher is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School, where he teaches corporate strategy, design-led strategy and company valuations at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Christopher is also a keen art enthusiast, being a member of the Art Gallery of New South Wales Foundation. Christopher is also a member of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, National Gallery of Australia, National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria.
Born and bred on the South Coast of New South Wales, Christopher earned an MBA from the University of Sydney Business School. Christopher also holds a Masters of Public Policy from Macquarie University, as well as qualifications in commerce and law. Christopher is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Christopher is an avid St George Illawarra fan, and lives in Wollongong with his lawyer wife Katherine, their daughter Abigail and their Goldendoodle George.
